Our program expectation is that each court order must clarify all terms and conditions of access, such as the frequency and duration of the supervised visit (e.g. ‘the child(ren) will have supervised visits twice a week for a duration of one hour based on Centre York Centre’s availability’). Orders should not specify the actual day or time. Clients may then be required to return to court to change the order to resume service at the Centre. A two-hour maximum for visits is recommended. Court Orders should also contain provisions if necessary regarding long weekends, school holidays, family holidays, etc.
